Bivins open house Saturday in Dixon

DIXON - State Sen. Tim Bivins, R-Dixon, is inviting 45th District residents to visit him and his new campaign headquarters Saturday.
Free coffee and doughnuts will be available from 8 to 11 a.m. at 109 S. Hennepin Ave., and Bivins will be on hand to take questions and discuss his Nov. 4 election bid.
“We are really excited to open our doors to anyone and everyone,” Bivins said in a news release. “We have a great location in downtown Dixon, and we want to showcase it to everyone in the 45th District.”
“We are going to use the headquarters to reach out to residents and inform them of my positions and qualifications for public office,” said Bivins, who was appointed to the seat. “We want everyone that walks by to stop in and talk to us. We really want to make ourselves available and accessible.”
